Blessing

Imagine a place of musical silence,
hidden in a void of senseless violence.
A place where only angels tread,
beyond the limits of the dead.


Israfel spends hours tucked away,
waiting for the judgment day.
The burning one in perfect serenity,
called by the order of the Trinity.


If only mortals could see this place,
a site born by divine grace.
I know if I could view this wonder,
I would have to stop and ponder.


Why cant angels live in heaven,
and eat its sacred bread unleaven?
What makes humans so precious,
that angels are destined to bow to us?


Image is the answer to my question.
God made us from his own reflection.
A blessing which weve taken for granted,
the blessing that was specially planted.


The blessing caused the splitting of heaven,
not all angels agreed with Gods conception.
Lucifer didn't want to serve the new creation,
he wanted to take the ruling position.


He was cursed and cast out of paradise,
forever waiting for his terrible demise.
Fooling himself with his earthly powers,
placing his hopes on unstable towers.
